چکیده
Abstract Charged particle reconstruction in High Energy Physics experiments is a significant part of overall event reconstruction. Depending on the physics environment, for instance collider with high multiplicities or luminosities, tracking problem increases complexity and often poses not only an algorithmic, but also computational challenge. With high-luminosity phase LHC at CERN approaching, research new approaches algorithms track has seen increased interest. Both technological like hardware accelerators, as well machine learning are being developed. However, testing developing these against existing experiments’ software stacks can prove to be challenging, they typically focus stable data taking, discouraging disruptive changes. This document presents virtual detector that designed simplified, realistic model real-world detector, serve robust testbed developments.

Adaptive Fusion of Inertial Navigation System and Tracking Radar Data
Against the range-dependent accuracy of the tracking radar measurements including range, elevation and bearing angles, a new hybrid adaptive Kalman filter is proposed to enhance the performance of the radar aided strapdown inertial navigation system (INS/Radar). This filter involves the concept of residual-based adaptive estimation and adaptive fading Kalman filter and tunes dynamically the fil...

PANDA experiment (antiProton ANnihilation at DArmstadt) is one of the key projects of the future FAIR facilities to investigate the reactions of antiprotons with protons and nuclear targets. experiment is designed to serve as a completely extraordinary physical potential due to exploiting the availability of cold and high-intensity beams of antiprotons. One of the significant parts of the ...
متن کاملAlignment of the ATLAS Inner Detector tracking system
The Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN is the world largest particle accelerator. It will collide two proton beams at an unprecedented center of mass energy of 14 TeV. ATLAS is equipped with a charge particle tracking system built on two technologies: silicon and drift tube based detectors, composing the ATLAS Inner Detector (ID). The alignment of the tracking system poses a challenge as one s...
متن کاملFirst microstrip detector prototypes for the CBM Silicon Tracking System
The STS plays a central role in the CBM experiment as it will exclusively perform track and momentum measurements of the charged particles created at the target. One of its key requirements is an especially low-mass construction, essential for achieving momentum resolution down to about 1%. This is particularly challenging because the high charged-particle densities (up to 30 per cm) and the hi...
